Many of our customers have sought custom solutions in recent years that can better meet their needs. For example, this could involve custom designing specific questions with special logic, specific requests for appearance and design, integration into complex segmentation models, interaction with CRM systems, or other external databases. We have almost always been able to solve the challenges that have arisen.
In general, these challenges fall into three categories:
So, think of this as an idea bank. If you have questions—or other ideas—don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We will likely find a new solution that fits your needs as well.
In the Walr platform, it’s easy to change the appearance of your survey to something familiar to you and your respondents. You can customize many aspects and even make individual changes to different questions.
However, many want the overall look of the survey to align more closely with their corporate design, and we can help with that. So if you or your web designer have a specific appearance in mind for the surveys, send us your suggestions, and we’ll create a template you can use moving forward.
Additionally, and perhaps just as importantly, you can personalize the links you use to launch your surveys. It’s understandable that clicking on unfamiliar links can feel "scary," but we can include your company or organization’s name in the links so they don’t appear cryptic. For example, the link could be something like
https://survey.[yourcompany].com
This is likely to help you increase the number of responses you receive for your surveys.
In the user interface of the question builder, you can easily create interactive questions yourself: buttons, carousels, sliders, drag-and-drop, etc., are readily available and easy to select. The surveys automatically adapt to both mobile and PC displays, and you can choose from a variety of options.
However, sometimes formulating the questions requires a different mindset, and over the years, we have developed many custom questions for clients with unique needs.
This could include:
"You have the question, we have the answer." So if you have an idea, don’t hesitate to discuss it with us: it may be much closer in terms of time (and cost) than you initially thought.
The example shown is from a survey we developed in collaboration with TØI, where we map cycling and pedestrian accidents using a Google Maps/Street View integration.
Many companies hold large amounts of information about their customers, including loyalty programs, purchase history, or web traffic.
The Walr platform offers a very flexible approach, allowing most functions to be accessed via APIs and fully automated.
By combining the flexibility of the survey—logic, appearance, and, importantly, changes along the way—you can achieve functionality that is typically difficult to achieve through other means.
