Universal Design of Surveys

Our survey platform is technically designed for universal design (WCAG). However, this does not necessarily mean that the survey is immediately suitable for, for example, blind or visually impaired individuals. Creating a questionnaire that works for these groups requires expertise in how to design surveys. This includes aspects such as:


  • How to ask questions so they make sense to visually impaired users.
  • Where to place question text on a webpage.
  • The order of instructions versus questions and answers.
  • How to use grid questions effectively.
  • The use of alternative text that conveys the same meaning as images and illustrations.
